Dairy worker dies after being caught in machinery

A 37-year-old dairy worker died on Sunday morning at a dairy farm near the town of Morris after becoming entangled in a piece of farming equipment. The worker had become trapped in a piece of machinery inside one of the property’s barns. The worker was removed from the machinery but was unable to be resuscitated.
Worker killed in trench collapse

A 36-year-old worker was killed on Monday in a trench collapse at a civil construction site in Rocky Mount. The man was inside a trench helping to install an overflow pipe for a new pond when the trench walls collapsed. The man was buried in the collapse and was declared dead at the scene.
Worker killed in fall from height
Louisiana, USA
Government officials are investigating the death of a 54-year-old construction worker who was killed in a fall at a residential construction north of Natchitoches on Sunday. The man was working with a crew of construction workers on the roof of the building when he fell approximately 6m (20ft) to the ground below. He was transported to a nearby medical facility and then airlifted to a regional hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Farmer killed in tractor incident
Barossa Valley, South Australia
A 62-year-old farmer has died following an incident at his family’s dairy farm in the Barossa Valley, north west of Adelaide, on Sunday morning. According to local reports, the man was involved in a tractor crash at the property and sustained extensive injuries. Despite the efforts of the attending emergency services, the man died at the scene.
Solwezi, Zambia
A 32-year-old miner died on Monday following an incident at a copper mine west of Solwezi in the country’s north west. The man was operating a dump truck at the site when an electrical fault sparked a fire in the vehicle. He sustained significant burns in the incident and later died from his injuries.
Worker struck and killed by truck
Chittagong, Bangladesh
A 55-year-old ship breaker was killed on Sunday afternoon after being struck by a truck at a shipyard near Sitakunda, north of Chittagong. The man was transported to a nearby hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.
